It will always be centered, but may be clipped when the element is smaller then the image. They specify how many pixels the pixel buffer in the canvas itself should have, and if you don't apply a size to it with css, css will imply it's size from that shape of that pixel buffer. Setting the element's size in css does not set the size of the pixel buffer - it resizes it.

WebJan 7, 2012 · Those images on the site you linked to are actual size, so the simple answer is just to resize the image. You can't really do this without "stretching" the image if the image happens to be less than 300px wide or tall, but you can do it without changing the ratio, which is what I think you mean.
