WebCytological examination in the CSF was performed on all the 34 cases. Thirty-two cases were found to have malignant cells in the initial CSF cytological examination, accounting for 0.5 – 92% (mean ± SD 22.3 ± 27.5%) of the WBC count. Two cases with normal biochemical markers and WBC count in the CSF were also found to have malignant cells.
